Meet Cindy Scheule

Cindy Scheule is a watercolour artist based in Sydney suburb of Balmain. She portraits houses with beautiful colours in intricate details.

Cindy Scheule has followed her passion for watercolour painting since the 2020 lockdown. Her very first house portrait was inspired by a house with a big bear sitting on the balcony discovered during her daily walks. Afterwards, she slipped the painting under the door anonymously. Little did she know, the painting has uplifted the house owner’s life in the difficult time and the house owner’s friend looked for her on local Facebook group. Ever since then, Cindy has been pursuing her dreams as an artist.

Cindy loves her neighbourhood and community. She has painted hundreds of houses, local shops and heritage pubs. For her, nothing beats the joy and connection her artwork brings.
